Esta parroquia lo fue durante muchos años de cuatro pueblos, el propio Navacarros, Palomares, Vallejera y La Hoya, cada uno de los pueblos utilizaba una puerta distinta para acudir a los oficios religiosos. Se remonta al siglo XIII, aunque fue reconstruida sobre el año 1644 tras quemarse.
